The
Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks
Needs your help!
During the end of
2006 and 2007 ACNA is fostering survey of
“The Arts and their Economic Impact” throughout the Adirondack Park.
The results of this will show our Legislators,
Tourism partners and potential supporters
that the Arts are a major industry here in the North Country and
finally,
get the recognition that is long overdue and well deserved.
This study is being sponsored by Americans for the Arts and we will
be compared
to other areas across the United States.
Working hand in hand with this study is Americans for the Arts
“Creative Industries Study”
that gives us just one more piece of the puzzle. |

HOW TO
Sign Up and Be Counted,
Our campaign to get individual artists and arts organizations to
register or update their information with Dun & Bradstreet. It is
beneficial for individuals and organizations to do so because having
a DUNS number is a pre-requisite to applying for many grants.
Furthermore, having a DUNS number will ensure that arts businesses
are counted in Americans for the Arts annual “Creative Industries
Study”. Full details on the DUNS number and directions for
contacting D&B to register are contained at Americans for the Arts
website
